The Thrilling Journey of My First year in College

Ah, the first day of college—a swirl of anticipation, anxieties, and limitless opportunities. Join me as I take you on a wild journey through my first year as a young woman, loaded with unique experiences and important life lessons. I was surrounded by new people and orientation activities as soon as I set foot on campus. The initial nerves immediately disappeared as I made connections with other new girls going through similar exhilarating adjustments. We overcame the difficulties of locating classes, interpreting course descriptions, and acclimating to the greater freedom that college life afforded by working together😊.


 

 Ah, the classes! Even while lectures and presentations might have sounded intimidating at first, they end up being opportunities for development and learning. My mind was opened to new ideas and my desire for knowledge was sparked by stimulating debates, engaged students, and knowledgeable lecturers. My ability to balance academics and extracurriculars helped me to discover my passions and find a position in several student organizations. Our growth, learning, and stumbling occur during the first time in college. I'm looking forward to the adventures that lie ahead of me in the next chapter of my college experience because it lays the groundwork for the years to come 😊😊😍.

Unit 1 Reflection

The first unit of this module, Information and Communication Technology in Education , gave me a deeper understanding of the role of ICT in Bhutanese schools and society. It introduced Bhutan’s Digital Drukyul vision, the ICT Curriculum Framework for classes VII–X, and practical models for technology integration such as SAMR and TPACK. I also explored instructional design approaches like backward design and universal design for learning (UDL). These topics helped me recognize that ICT is not just a collection of digital tools but a transformative force that can shape teaching, learning, and even the cultural identity of Bhutan.
